Review from MetalDelirium.net

"....They bring together electronic elements with a post-hardcore edge. It proves to be a good mix for them. They mange to create a fairly unique sound amidst the steady stream of post-hardcore bands adding electronica to their sound these days.
"...The electronic parts really shine in Far From the Tree’s sound. They mix in catchy dance beats to their heavy sound. “This Room is More than Soundproof” is a great example of how they implement this. Not to mention it features an awesome guitar solo and pretty sick bass line. Neither of which I was expecting. Far From the Tree prove to be skilled musicians
"...This is a good album definitely worth checking out. It has a sound that seems fresh to the genre. The dance elements are used just enough to break things up without losing the heavier side. Far From the Tree show much promise on You’ve Crashed Your Only Vessel."

Review from Brushvox.com

“You’re Crashed Your Only Vessel” is a powerful mixture of old-school heavy metal riffings – well, some of them are returning quite to the NWOBHM and particularly to Iron Maiden – and some groove metal riffs while the space between is filled up with techno textures and layers. Cody screams, howls and sings as any singer with self esteem should nowadays and the band delivering from intense grindings to nice acoustic breaks everything to make the whole machinery sounds dynamic and catchy. And well, they do a pretty good job."

"...Far From The Tree managed to twist in their own style, they have quite exciting breaks, turns, shifting of themes and tones, they came up with a perfect blending of metal and techno sounds and have some killer grooves."
